RAWK’s Summer Writing Workshops are a week of inspiration, observation, exploration, sharing, growing, laughing, and learning. It’s a week of experimenting with genre, style and voice through writing prompts spanning the spectrum of silly to thought provoking. We get comfortable with the workshop process — talking about our own and each other’s writing. There are games, sometimes we dance, we laugh a whole lot, and we get to spend time over at the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center. Students will submit writing to our annual summer anthology, and will celebrate the book release at the end of the summer.
We operate on a Pay What You Can basis. It costs us $125 per student to facilitate this workshop.
